I’ve used a few storage facilities over the years, but Pepper‘s ferry storiage is hands-down the best experience I’ve had. from the moment I called to ask about unit availability, the staff was friendly knowledgeable and made the whole process incredibly easily. The storage facility is great. We love the drive up conscience. The new units are huge like 20 feet deep. If you are searching for storage in Christiansburg or Blacksburg, this place checks every box safe affordable, and professionally run. ~ Patrick W

This place is great and close to our house. I may or may not sometimes just come and sit in my unit to have a little man cave type of place away from the house and experience some peace and quiet. :-) It is an affordable storage facility. There are some contractor storage units as well. I know those tend to get filled up pretty quick. If you are looking for storage in Christiansburg or Blacksburg and not too far from Virginia Tech this is a great place. ~ Isaac M

I can't say enough about A & J 114 Mini Storage! We needed a large storage unit quickly and A & J 114 Mini Storage came through! Mrs. Elmore was so kind to allow us to move our belongings that same evening, even though we were still bringing items at midnight. The units we rented were clean and didn't leak. We didn't experience any problems with the units or with the rental agreement. We will DEFINITELY use A & J 114 Mini Storage for future needs and will highly recommend them to others. ~ Susan C

We have been using multiple storage units here for over a year. I like the drive up storage convenience. They take care of the snow quickly in the few times a year that we get snow here in Christiansburg. When I showed up today the snow was removed and I could easily drive up to my units so I just wanted to give a shout out to the Peppers Ferry Storage team. We got a unit from my friend that owns this storage facility in Christiqnsburg and it is great. it's close to town and available 24/7. You bring your own lock and they have small units that 5 X 8 all the way up to the large contractor units. They even have a few that have electricity. I have rented a storage unit at Peppers Ferry Storage since February 2024 and it has been great. We love that we have 24/7 access and that it is so close to town. The owner and new manager have been easy to work with and our responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this locatuon to anyone looming for storage in the New River Valley, especially in Blacksburg or Christhiansburg. ~ richard o

If you need a storage unit in Blacksburg or Christiansburg this place is great and affordable. They have a bunch of brand new units as well so I know they have some availability currently. ~ louis v

Peppers Ferry storage is great place for local drive up storage here in Christiansburg, They have a few units for contractors which th electricity and a bunch of new units. I noticed they are doing some boat and vehicle storage as well in the new area. ~ Mike T

I have been using a number of storage units for the last 18 months and it has been great. The owner has been great and worked with me to get a number of units next to each other. A&J Route 114 Mini Storage is a wonderful facility! Mrs. Elmore couldn't have been kinder or more considerate! I used 2 smaller storage sheds for 4 years and never had any problems. I am very grateful for the Elmore's help and I recommend their units highly! ~ Annette P

UPDATE: They have since followed up, refunded our money and apologized. Although our initial experience was poor, they have exceeded expectations to make this right. My son rented a unit here for Summer 2024. Although we gave proper notice and notified them that the unit was empty, they continued billing us and have not responded to multiple phone messages and texts to resolve the issue. ~ Paula S
